Technical Project Lead (f/m/d)
Location: Inovan Birkenfeld (Baden-Württemberg)
Key responsibilities:
- Global Process Governance: Establish and strategically design a global PMO architecture and implement modern project management standards.
- Process Architecture: Optimize end-to-end processes in portfolio and resource management, specifically tailored to the requirements of Tier 2 and Tier 3 supplier structures.
- Methodological Framework: Act as the central methodological point of contact to ensure process maturity and effectiveness across the entire organization.
- Reporting & KPI Management: Define and monitor relevant KPIs and prepare analyses to provide direct decision support for top management.
- Strategic Support: Prepare and support steering committees and develop decision-making templates.
- Quality & PDP (Product Development Process): Take technical responsibility for deadlines, costs, and quality throughout the entire product development process.
- Technical Interface: Cooperate closely with global development and product teams, contributing your expertise (e.g., metal forming) directly to industrialization projects.
Requirements:
- Technical Foundation: A university degree (Master’s/Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or a comparable field.
- Automotive Expertise: Sound knowledge of maturity level assurance (RGA) and the APQP process, ideally with experience at the Tier 2 or Tier 3 level.
- Methodological Competence: Extensive experience in risk management for technical projects as well as structured, methodical project management.
- Relevant Work Experience: At least 5 years of practical experience in a project environment, during which you have significantly shaped PMO structures or complex (sub-)projects.
- Design & Engineering Know-how: Experience in the design, manufacture, and validation of mechanical components or assemblies.
- Hands-on Mentality: Strong initiative and the ability to drive topics forward through technical persuasiveness and professional authority—even without disciplinary hierarchy.
- Communication Skills: Business-fluent in German and English, with a confident manner across all hierarchical levels.
- Global Mobility: Willingness to travel (approx. 10–15%) to our locations in Europe and Asia.
