Title: Associate Account Manager
Classification: Exempt
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, with option to work hybrid as dictated by management. Hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must have flexibility to take calls/Teams meetings with clients as needed outside of standard work hours.
Reports to: Key Account Manager
Key Interfaces: Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Director of Operations, Planning, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Customer Service, and Warehouse Associates.

Summary/Objective
The Inside Sales Representative (Independents & Distributors) role serves as an entry point into a rewarding sales career at Prym, with opportunities for advancement to Sales Director position. This position focuses on supporting mid-size retailers while searching for new business opportunities within the segment.
Essential Functions
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with retail customers (i.,e. Hobby Lobby and Michael’s), deliver quality service, and support long-term partnerships.
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and collaboration.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Assist in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth and strengthen Prym’s position in the market.
- Customer Support & Follow-Up: Respond to customer inquiries, track orders, and ensure prompt resolution of issues to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
- CRM & Data Management: Maintain accurate customer records, monitor sales activities, and provide data for actions to be taken in the future.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track key metrics, anticipate customer needs, and share regular updates on sales performance and trends.
- Travel & Events: Represent Prym at customer appointments, trade shows, and open houses to promote products and strengthen partnerships.
- Sales Analysis: Review customer sales plans and provide data-driven insight to optimize assortment and potential opportunities.
- Entrepreneurial Support: Collaborate with Marketing to develop point-of-purchase (POP) displays, sales tools, and creative materials that inspire customers and drive sell-through.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Marketing, Business Administration/Management, or other related degree
- 1-3 years experience in Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Must be proficient in MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Ability to build & maintain strong relationships with customers and co-workers. Ability to adapt to many personalities.
- A results driven approach with the big picture in mind. Strong desire to walk a fine line of what is best for the customer and Prym.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience working with a CRM system
- Experience in the sewing notions and arts industry is a plus, but not required
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory function.

Work Environment or Working Conditions
This is a remote position, so work will take place in a home office, flights, car, or travel to the home office in Spartanburg, SC. In the home office, this job operates in a combination of professional office and warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers,
and filing cabinets. Additionally, this role will encounter equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles, with high noise levels possible in the warehouse setting.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift 5 – 20 lbs periodically and 50lbs on occasion
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours
- Ability to sit for up to 8 hours
