Position Overview:
The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Prym Consumer will be responsible for driving the company’s global commercial strategy, fostering sustainable growth, and enhancing the organization’s customer-centric focus. This role will ensure greater impact in strategy implementation, identify new sales and market opportunities, and be a key enabler of organic growth. The CCO will lead the Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams, with a focus on strengthening the management team and evolving the company's mindset toward a customer-first organization.

- Bring a strong commercial background to complement the existing leadership team.
- Drive mindset change across the organization toward a more customer-centric approach.
- Challenge and support all commercial areas within Prym Consumer to ensure alignment with the company's goals.
- Globalization and Innovation:
- Manage and develop selected commercial areas with globalization potential.
- Lead the global innovation team to drive new initiatives across markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive global strategy, focusing on market share, revenue growth, and profitability.
- Sales Leadership: Oversee regional and global sales teams, ensuring delivery on key revenue targets. Build scalable processes to improve performance across regions and product categories.
- Marketing and Product Development: Lead global marketing efforts to ensure brand consistency and alignment with customer needs. Collaborate with product development teams to align innovations with market demands.
- Customer Focus: Champion a customer-centric culture within the company. Align product and service offerings to meet customer needs.
- International Growth: Spearhead international market expansion, optimize existing operations, and identify new customer segments.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across Product Development, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to align on commercial goals.
- Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing commercial team, fostering collaboration and driving results.
Organizational Responsibilities:
- Global matrix function, challenging and supporting global sales and marketing teams, consisting of approximately 40 employees in the US, Germany, Finland, and Hong Kong.
- Global responsibility for Market Intelligence (currently 1 employee in India).
- Global responsibility for product development (approximately 10 employees in the US, Germany, and Malaysia).
- Leads the global innovation team, collaborating with employees from the US, Germany and Hong Kong.
- Member of the Prym Consumer Global Leadership Team.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 10-15 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, and commercial leadership within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- Global Expertise: Extensive international experience managing global teams and operations, with a focus on diverse market dynamics and customer behaviors.
- Leadership: Strong background in building and leading cross-functional teams across different regions. Ability to drive change and foster a customer-centric culture.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong business and financial acumen, with experience managing commercial P&L and optimizing revenue streams.
- Innovation and Strategy: Strategic and analytical mindset, capable of leading innovation and driving new business opportunities.
- Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer experience strategies and consumer behavior.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Fluency in English, German and other languages is a plus.
- Experience in digital transformation and e-commerce strategies.
