Manager Corporate Development (m/f/d)
Location: Stolberg (Greater Area Aachen)
Your responsibilities:
- Strategy & Portfolio Management: You actively support group strategy and portfolio management, addressing strategic, financial, and corporate structure topics.
- Executive Decision Materials: You prepare decision-oriented materials, executive presentations, and strategic reporting for Senior Management and the Advisory Board.
- CEO Office Support: You support selected CEO Office activities, including the preparation of executive management meetings and materials, as well as the follow-up of key decisions.
- Project Ownership: You independently manage selected strategic and cross-functional projects and workstreams across the group.
- Value Creation Initiatives: You drive and support group-wide initiatives focused on value creation, operational efficiency, and finance-related optimization.
Your profile:
- Education: You hold a successfully completed university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience: You bring roughly 2–4 years of proven professional experience, ideally within a top-tier management/strategy consultancy, Corporate Development, or a comparable corporate strategy role.
- Financial Acumen: You demonstrate outstanding analytical capabilities, strong financial acumen, and confidence in financial modeling and data synthesis.
- Methodology & Storytelling: You possess robust structured problem-solving skills, structured project management abilities, and excellent storytelling skills to distill complex issues for C-level stakeholders.
- Hands-on Mindset: You bring high ownership, a pragmatic hands-on mentality, and strong stakeholder management skills across diverse cross-cultural teams.
- Languages: You are fluent in both English and German (written and spoken) at a business-negotiation level.
