Inhouse Consultant / Commercial Excellence Manager (f/m/d)

in Birkenfeld (or Stolberg)

 

This newly created Commercial Excellence (ComEx) team is made up of dedicated project managers / inhouse consultants and plays a key role in driving the Prym Group’s growth. As part of this global team, you will take ownership in developing and enhancing the commercial capabilities and processes of one of our divisions.

 

 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • End-to-End Project Ownership: You lead Commercial Excellence projects from initial concept to successful implementation, focusing on topics such as pricing strategy, sales funnel management, CRM rollouts, or sales organization design.
  • International Interface Management: You lead projects in a cross-functional and international setting, collaborating closely with teams in Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Controlling across locations such as the US, Italy, or Hong Kong.
  • Analytics & Decision Support: You conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative analyses (e.g., stakeholder interviews and transactional data) to provide a solid foundation for fact-based decision-making.
  • Change Management: You ensure sustainable implementation by driving stakeholder engagement and applying effective change management techniques.
  • Strategic Support: You support divisional management in structuring and managing the ComEx project portfolio.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Education: You hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Sciences, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: You have 2–3 years of experience in consulting or project management (focusing on top-line topics) or in a commercial role within a comparable industry (e.g., automotive or industrial sector).
  • “Just Do-It” Mentality: You have a proven ability to take full ownership of projects rather than just coordinating or administering them.
  • Work Style: You are highly organized, reliable, and follow a structured working style.
  • Communication Skills: You possess strong stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Personality: You are a proactive team player with a high sense of responsibility, an enthusiasm for international collaboration, and a willingness to travel.
  • Tools & Languages: You are proficient in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel). You are fluent in English and German.
