SAP Data Specialist (m/f/d)

Location: Stolberg (Greater Area Aachen)

Your responsibilities:

• Master Data Management: You are responsible for the creation, maintenance, and continuous updating of SAP material master data, ensuring its absolute completeness and accuracy.
• Systemic Foundation: You ensure that materials are correctly usable for procurement, processed cleanly in sales, bookable in logistics, and displayed accurately in connected systems such as our webshops.
• Troubleshooting & Analysis: Whenever material-related issues or order processing errors occur in SAP, you act as the sparring partner for root cause analysis and resolution.
• Process Evolution: You actively drive the further development of data structures and maintenance processes within SAP to increase efficiency and transparency.
• Consulting & Collaboration: You work closely with various functional areas on SAP-related topics: be it Procurement, Sales, Logistics, and IT, or our international colleagues. You also maintain full oversight during projects such as mass data uploads in the context of acquisitions.

Your profile:

• Experience: You have solid professional experience in master data management or a comparable SAP environment. While a senior-level title is not required, you must be a highly proficient SAP user.
• Expertise: Excellent (expert-level) knowledge of SAP and MS Excel is mandatory for this position.
• Communication: You are fluent in German and English, enabling you to coordinate proactively with our international locations.
• Work Style: You are characterized by extremely high accuracy and diligence. A structured, independent, and proactive way of working is second nature to you.
• Analytical Thinking: You have a quick grasp of complex data structures and the foresight to identify process dependencies and potential error sources.
• Bonus: Experience with PIM systems or additional foreign languages is a plus but not required.
